PHN Presents: California, Wildfires, & Resilience

A Builder’s Perspective

June 24th, Noon-1PM ET

Join us as Mike Horgan, founder of Cairn Collaborative Design-Build (based in San Luis Obispo, CA) and Horgan Design-Build (based in Cape Cod, MA) talks about his journey in high-performance building; his beginning and continued implementation of Passive House in their design-build efforts; and his work within wildland-urban interface (WUI) zones. As a true design-build company, with both architectural design and physical construction within the same organization, Cairn Collaborative listens to and works with clients from the first discussions of dreams and desires through the completed construction process. Hear some plain speaking about good building practices and learn from Mike’s work examples in multiple locations, climates, and countries.
