The Marshall Fire Journey:
Homeowners & Teams Rebuilding Better
Tuesday, December 20th at Noon ET
Almost a year ago the Marshall fire burned down over 1,000 homes in the eastern Boulder County communities of Superior and Louisville. Faced with staggering loses, families are now in the process of rebuilding, with the support of community members, towns, the county, state and utility. An array of financial incentives are encouraging families to build back better, learning the lessons of past disasters and working to build more resilient homes that are more energy efficient. The Passive House Network in cooperation with the Colorado Green Building Guild, Xcel Energy and other stakeholders have helped support this effort, and in particular, to achieve Passive House performance and certification.
In this special event we’ll hear from three homeowners and their project teams about their process of rebuilding so far, and what comes next.
