Invitation to Submit Presentation Proposals

Passive House 2026 | Profit by Experience

June 4-5, 2026

Hotel Marcel, New Haven, CT

SUBMIT JANUARY 13 – FEBRUARY 13

Buildings designed and built to the Passive House standard teach us how to transform conventional building delivery to provide robust benefits that everyone can profit from: Health and well-being. Social justice. Financial security. Property protection. Customer satisfaction. Team building.

Speak to and with professionals, developers, builders, manufacturers, owners, occupants, lenders, insurers, advocates, and policymakers who are intrigued and excited by the possibilities and want to know more, seeking to leverage the power of your experience to achieve their goals.

If you reflect our audience interests, we want to hear from you.

Topic Areas:

Market transformation can’t be accomplished in a silo, so we are looking for submissions focused on a wide range of concerns, many of them overlapping, interlocking, and interdependent:

  • The business case, including finance and insurance.
  • The lifestyle case, including health and wellness.
  • The social justice case, including economic security and public health.
  • The policy case, including climate mitigation & adaptation, community resilience, equity, and affordability.
  • The technical case for stronger designs, components, and team building.
  • Case studies of buildings across the range of building typologies.
  • Delivery, development, and ownership; what makes success and creates value, and what doesn’t.
  • Retrofits, and new builds, what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next.

The audience wants to know the frameworks, but also the details. They want to know both the upsides and the challenges. They want to join the conversation and find out what they should be reaching for. What’s within reach? What do they need to push and stretch for? How should they be thinking about next steps?

Provide the strategies, the details, the data, and the lessons learned. If you’re willing to share, challenge, and inspire, we encourage you to submit a presentation proposal.

Sessions Basics:

  • Each session is 75 minutes long and comprises two related presentations, each 25 minutes long, followed by a moderated discussion.
  • Submissions are for a presentation, not a full session.
  • One presenter, at most two, per presentation/submission.
  • After the presentations, a moderator will lead a discussion with the presenters, including audience questions.

Submitters may suggest a pairing with another known submission for consideration. (Note: doing this or not doing this will not determine your chances of selection.)
