Joshua brings over ten years of experience to the role of Commissioning Project Manager. He oversees and manages all commissioning activities and is the main point of contact. He reviews the Owner’s Project Requirements and the Basis of Design along with the design documentation; prepares the commissioning plan; attends design, construction, controls integration, and coordination meetings; develops the schedule; oversees testing and training; and prepares final commissioning documentation. As Lead Commissioning Agent, he manages and coordinates onsite activities; updates the commissioning plan; performs design and submittal reviews; supervises onsite activities; schedules and supervises operational reviews; assists testing oversight and uploading LEED or project closeout documentation. As Commissioning Director, he supervises departmental personnel, while working closely with the Owner and Contractor.

Northland is a privately-held real estate private equity firm that acquires, develops, manages, and owns multifamily and mixed use properties. The Northland Newton Development is converting an old industrial complex into a new vibrant 14 building mixed use development that will be the largest Passive House and all electric residential community, and site, in the country. The 22.6 acre, 1.1 million SF site will have 800, including 140 affordable, housing units, 180,000 SF of office space, 110,000 SF of commercial space, and two retails buildings, and all of the parking will be underground. The complex will also include the renovation of a historic mill, underground utility lines, and an solar array.
