FLIXO Thermal Bridge Calculations

Introducing our Thermal Bridge Modeling course using FLIXO, designed to equip attendees with practical expertise across five detailed modules.

Participants will master standard thermal bridge calculation protocols applied to a variety of building detail scenarios, gaining hands-on experience drawing, importing, and assigning material properties for accurate thermal bridge analysis. The course covers essential skills such as calculating PSI values and evaluating details for interior surface condensation risks.

Advanced FLIXO functionalities will be explored, including parametric analysis, creation and management of model variants, and the use of 3D equivalent objects to represent complex details. Attendees will learn how to optimize thermal bridge solutions through value engineering techniques, thereby enhancing both building performance and cost-effectiveness. The course culminates with training on FLIXO’s sophisticated reporting features to produce clear, professional summary pages.

Each module provides in-depth protocols for modeling critical architectural thermal bridge types, including corners, floor intersections, window installations, slab perimeters, parapets, and more, ensuring comprehensive skill development for architects, engineers, and energy modelers seeking to improve building envelope performance.

The Flixo live online course registration is now closed. Check back in 2026 when we plan to run the course again!
