Brief Description

Leo Cheng is a former NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) engineer who contributed to robotic missions exploring Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and beyond. After losing his Altadena home in the Eaton fire, he determined to rebuild a residence capable of enduring future wildfires and severe climate conditions. This led him to co-found ResilientHAUS, a community organization dedicated to constructing high-performance post-fire housing. Drawing on his physics background, Leo earned his Certified Passive House Tradesperson (CPHT) credential and now serves as a building science consultant at Point 6 Building Science Consultants.
